Participation in the Traffic and Granular Flow 2026 Conference
Mr. Satish Kumar and Dr. Martin Treiber from our chair attended the Traffic and Granular Flow 2026 Conference, held at the University of Bristol, UK, from 16–19 June 2026.
Mr. Satish Kumar presented research on "Generalizing the Intelligent-Agent Model to Fully Two-Dimensional Flows" from Research Area B – Shared Space of the Collaborative Research Centre AgiMo-TRR 408. The IAM-2D model aims to overcome the directionality limitations of the Intelligent-Agent Model (IAM) by incorporating agents with multiple origins and multiple destinations.
The conference provided an excellent opportunity to connect with international experts, exchange ideas, and gain insights into the latest developments in vehicular traffic flow and pedestrian dynamics.
This research and travel were supported by the “Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, German Research Foundation) under TRR: 408/1 (2025), Project Number: 531327426”
