Welcome to team Mr. Satish Kumar
We are delighted to welcome Mr. Satish Kumar as a Research Associate at the Chair of Applied Statistics. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Patna, India, and a Master of Technology in Transportation Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India.
His research will focus on the Collaborative Research Center “Data-driven agile planning for responsible mobility (AgiMo), subproject B7 “New methods for multimodal microscopic simulation of street users’ behavior in shared space contexts”, funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
This work centers on traffic flow modelling and simulations of the behavior of pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers of motorized modes, particularly in a shared space context, but also for interactions in a general traffic context with dedicated traffic spaces. His research will be supervised by Dr. Martin Trieber, Chair of Applied Statistics, TU Dresden, and co-supervised by Prof. Dr. Klaus Bogenberger, Chair of Traffic Engineering and Control, TU Munich.
