Apply for Master student exchange program with the SWUFE in China!
To be well-prepared for today's working environment it is crucial to gain skills extending more than technical aspects. It is especially important to have excellent language skills, a broad cultural horizon as well as a generally developed personality. If you want to improve yourself in those aspects and gain a unique learning experience in an overseas academic environment, you should take a closer look at our cooperation program with the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics in Chengdu, China (SWUFE). The SWUFE is a high quality university in the research subjects relevant for our faculty and we are proud to present this opportunity to you.
The program starting at fall 2018 addresses students at the beginning of their Master's program in "Verkehrswirtschaft". In the following sections you will find information about the structure of the program, the application requirements, accommodation & living circumstances as well as information about how to apply.
Structure
Instead of being four semesters at the TU Dresden and using one of them for writing your Master thesis, we recommand your study schedule to look like this:
1st semester: Studies - TU Dresden, Germany
2nd semester: Studies - SWUFE, China
3rd semester: Studies - SWUFE, China
4th semester: Master thesis - TU Dresden, Germany
Please consider that you will not obtain a degree from both universities. The program is designed to provide you with additional experiences, but at the end you are - hopefully - going to receive the Master's degree in "Verkehrswirtschaft" by the TU Dresden. For detailed information of the different courses offered by the TU Dresden and the SWUFE regarding this program, you can take a look at this list.
After your stay at the SWUFE you can have your program achievements recognized for your studies at the "Friedrich List" Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences. Applications for recognition of program achievements are handled by the examination board.

- have enrolled in the program of Master’s Degree “Verkehrswirtschaft” in the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences, TU Dresden;
