Computational statistics
(Bachelor, 5th semester)
As part of the seminar in the Bachelor's degree program, students are given the opportunity to familiarize themselves with an analysis method from econometrics and to apply it in practice.
Qualification goals: Students have an in-depth understanding of statistics and can independently determine statistical correlations. They are able to develop and apply time series models for transportation-specific topics.
Contents of the module are statistical tests, advanced linear regression, splines, kernel density estimators and time series analysis, in particular ARMA models.
The seminar starts on 17.10.2024 in room POT 51 with an introduction and discussion of the procedure.
