The courses of the bachelor degree program deal with the basics in the areas of: scientific work, programming with C++, linear optimization, location planning, transportation planning, shortest path problems, route planning, revenue management as well as customs management and export control. The addressed problems are deepened in the course of a seminar. Thereby, the emphasis of the work is on the independent implementation of the presented models and approaches into suitable software platforms.

The focus of the master degree program is on the specialization of the subjects discussed in the bachelor degree program. In addition, characteristic problems of service providers in public transport are examined. Again, a major emphasis is on the independent implementation of models and complex solution methods into suitable software platforms.

With the final thesis the students prove their knowledge learned in the area of management of transport and logistics companies. Thematically, the works are oriented towards the research focuses of the employees at the chair. A main aspect is the independent modelling and implementation of the problem into a suitable software platform.
