Horber Rail Days sponsorship award

Every year, the Horber Schienen-Tage sponsorship prize is awarded for student work related to rail transport. The aim of the prize is to promote dialog between early-career researchers and stakeholders in the field of rail transport and thus increase the attractiveness of the rail transport industry as a future field of activity. The competition entries must be submitted by June 30, 2025.

The competition is open to students and graduates from universities of all departments (technical, business, natural sciences and humanities as well as urban and spatial planning degree programs) who have written a thesis or dissertation related to rail transport in the past three years. The prize is endowed with EUR 500. The evaluation is carried out by a jury of recognized experts from the fields of rail transport science and practice.
