Aim of the subject
Under the name "Technology Assessment" (TA), a new field has emerged in the past 2 decades that is dedicated to the system-analytical evaluation of the consequences of new technologies. This concerns above all the complex field of tension between technological, ecological, economic, legal and social objectives. This course teaches general principles of this field and focuses on the technology impact assessment of complex telematics and automation solutions in the field of physical and virtual mobility systems.
