Chair participates at CFA Research Challenge 2016/2017
The chair of Business Management, especially Management Accounting and Control consistent of Michael Graßmann, Marc Janka, Stephan Fuhrmann, Stefanie Einhorn und Xaver Heinicke participates in this year’s CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst ) Research Challenge. Participants work in teams to research and analyze a publicly traded company. The team is guided by the experience of university mentor Prof. Dr. Thomas Günther as well as industry mentor Marko Graßmann (Caute Advisors GmbH). The first Research Challenge competition was hosted by the New York Society of Security Analysts in 2002 and involved just five teams from the New York area. Since then, the competition has grown to involve tens of thousands of students from over 900 universities in more than 75 countries. It is the first time that the TU Dresden will be represented in this competition.

CFA Institute develops and administers the CFA Program, a globally recognized standard for measuring the competence and integrity of financial analysts and investment managers.
