Associates of the chair with PwC at the castle Montabaur
From June 15 - 16, 2018 two of our associates, Tim Lukas Kirsch and Stephan Furhmann, participated at a doctoral seminar hosted by PwC in Montabaur. This year's event had the main topic „NextLevel Start-/Scale-ups als Treiber der digitalen Transformationen". Besides interesting presentations about the role of digitalization in today's business environment and deep insights about PwC, a former PwC employee and nowadays entrepreneur presented his opinion about the start-up industry and talked about success factors during the start-up phase of a business.
Additionally, the seminar gave the opportunity to participate in a hands-on workshop about prototyping and the successful setup of users questionnaires. A workshop about the valuation of start-ups and compliance challenges of start-ups during the growth phase provided an opportunity for more insights and engagements.
During the coffee break, a reception and dinner in the old castle, there was also time to connect with our Ph.D. students and researchers as well as with PwC employees.
We are grateful about the opportunity of participating and thank PwC for the organization of this great event.
