From September 30 to October 1, 2025, Prof. Andreas Pinkwart and Toni Heinze from the Chair of Innovation- and Technology Management at TU Dresden took part in the national conference for data trust models, which was held in Darmstadt under the title "Data sharing for digital innovations".
Prof. Pinkwart moderated the panel discussion organized by Toni Heinze and Dr. Nagwan Abu El-Ella on "Biggest Obstacles in Founding - and Solutions" with the central question of how sustainable business models can be developed by data trustees. Together with other panel guests from various data trust contexts, valuable impulses for the community were discussed. Among other things, there was a consensus that business models should be considered from the outset and that scalability is a challenge for many externally funded projects.
