OR-PhD workshop on October 20, 2016
On October 20, 2016, a PhD workshop in the field of Operations Research took place for the first time in the banquet room of the Faculty of Business and Economics. It was initiated by Prof. Buscher. The professors and members of the following chairs participated at this university-wide workshop:

- Professorship for Transport Operation Management and Logistics, TU Dresden, Prof. Dr. Jörn Schönberger
Within the workshop, one doctoral candidate of each chair had the opportunity to give a lecture about his or her dissertation project and to get helpful comments from the attendant participants:

- Michael Kümmling: „Improving traffic assignment and periodic timetable optimization by constraint propagation“
