EVerFit puts financial literacy to the test

In February 2025, the BMBF-funded project EVerFit ("Development and validation of a technology-based assessment for the diagnosis of action-oriented financial competence") was launched. At TU Dresden, the Chair of Business Education and Management Training is involved in the research under the direction of Prof. Dr. Fürstenau.

The aim of EVerFit is to develop and validate a technology-based situational judgment test. This test offers adolescents and young adults in vocational training realistic financial decision-making situations in various areas (e.g. savings, loans, investments, budgeting). People's decisions are recorded using open and closed response formats. In addition, process data is collected via eye tracking, emotion recognition and think-aloud interviews.
