Doctoral Committee

The Doctoral Committee is responsible for the implementation of the doctoral procedures of the Faculty. The tasks of the committee include the acceptance of doctoral candidates, the opening of doctoral procedures, the appointment of reviewers, and the decision on problematic and special cases.

The Doctoral Committee office will be closed from May 29 to June 12, 2026. Applications for admission as a doctoral candidate may be submitted during this period by placing them in the "Promotionsausschuss" mailbox in front of the Dean’s Office. Applications to initiate the doctoral process cannot be accepted during this period. Please schedule an appointment to submit your application before or after this time.
