Associate Professor Bismark Singh honored as Distinguished Research Fellow
From 05.08.-14.09.2024, Associate Professor Bismark Singh from the University of Southampton will be a guest of Professor Tristan Becker (Junior Professorship of Business Administration, esp. Management Science) as part of the Distinguished Research Fellowship Program. A research exchange is also planned with the Chair of Business Administration, in particular Industrial Management and the Chair of Business Administration, in particular Energy Economics. Bismark Singh conducts research into data-based decision-making under uncertainty (in particular using stochastic optimization models). Areas of application include energy and sustainability management as well as health management.
On 07.08.2024, Bismark Singh was honored as Distinguished Research Fellow 2024 in the faculty's ballroom and gave insights into his research fields and possible points of contact at the faculty and TU Dresden in his lecture "Mathematical optimization for highly reliable decision-making under uncertainty". Previously, he had already held the PhD course "Chance-constrained Programming" offered as part of the Saxon Doctoral Program of Management Research on August 6/7.
