Great success for the Chair of Business Engineering: All 5 submissions to ECIS 2023 accepted

The Chair of Information Systems, esp. Business Engineering, records a great success: All papers submitted by the authors to this year's European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS) have been accepted for the conference. ECIS will take place from June 11 to 16 in Kristiansand, Norway. The theme of this year's conference is "Co-creating Sustainable Digital Futures" (https://ecis2023.no/).

The digital future is considered to be one of the Grand Challenges of the current century and plays a central role in supporting the provision of social goods such as healthcare, education and economic income. Another major theme is the digitalization of organizations, which is contributing to the need for organizations and institutions to refocus in order to shape a sustainable and employee-friendly future of work. The accepted contributions listed below fit into the theme of the digitization of companies as a Grand Challenge in the following way:

• “Embarking on the Digital Transformation Journey Toward a Data-Driven Organization: Empirical Insights into Transformation Starting Points”,
