A warm welcome! Prof. Dr. Kamila Cygan-Rehm appointed to the Chair of Quantitative Methods, esp. Econometrics

We warmly welcome Prof. Dr. Kamila Cygan-Rehm at the Faculty. Since 01.10.2023, she she holds the Chair for Quantitative Methods, esp. Econometrics. Kamila Cygan-Rehm obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) in 2013, where she also spent several years as a post-doc. Before joining the TU Dresden, she led the Research Group “Outcomes of Education Across the Lifespan“ at the Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories (LIfBi) in Bamberg.

Starting in winter semester 2023/24 Kamila Cygan-Rehm will expand the teaching offers in the specializations Quantitative Methods/Econometrics. Her research focuses mainly on the fields of empirical labor, education, health and population economics. The main focus is on the econometric evaluation of various policy measures.
