New at the faculty: Dr. Andreas Leibing

We warmly welcome Dr. Andreas Leibing to the faculty. Since May 2024, he has been working as a Research Associate and Postdoc at the Chair of Quantitative Methods, esp. Econometrics. Andreas Leibing completed his Bachelor's degree in Economics in Göttingen and subsequently his Master's degree at LMU Munich. He recently successfully completed his doctorate at the FU Berlin. Since 2020, Andreas Leibing has been employed as a Research Associate at DIW Berlin.

In his research and teaching, Andreas Leibing deals with the influence of factors on individual educational decisions and educational success, among other things. One of his current projects deals with the effects of degree program rankings on students' choice of subject and university.
