New third-party funded project at the DZ BANK Foundation: Personalized customer advice through agent-based AI
A new research project launched at the Chair of Business Administration and Economics, in particular Finance and Financial Technology, is investigating the strategic importance of artificial intelligence (AI) for the financial sector from a Business Administration and Economics perspective. The focus is on the question of how the use of modern AI technologies affects the interaction between banks and customers, especially with regard to regionally based Institutes. Against the backdrop of digital structural change, the project analyzes which factors influence acceptance of and trust in automated advisory processes. Research is being conducted into the extent to which technological innovations can be used to ensure service quality and at the same time meet the specific requirements of data protection and customer orientation. The aim of the project is to gain fundamental insights into the perception of AI-supported systems in the banking sector.
Funded by the DZ BANK Foundation
Participating institutions: The project is a cooperation between the TUD Dresden University of Technology under the direction of Professor Dr. Lars Hornuf and the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt under the direction of Junior Professor Dr. David Streich.
