Presentations by early-career researchers at the ICIS 2024 in Bangkok
At International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS) 2024, which took place from December 15-18, 2024 in Bangkok, several publications by early-career researchers from the faculty were accepted for publication.

Mariam Bellger (Chair of Business Administration, esp. Marketing), Benedikt Brendel, Fabian Hildebrandt and Sascha Lichtenberg shed light on the role of mindful and mindful behavior in their paper "Anger Against the Algorithm? - The Role of Mindful and Mindless Processing of Errors by Human-Like Generative AI" on the influence of perceived humanity and the occurrence of errors in a chatbot on the development of frustration among internet users.
In their paper entitled "The Uberization of Work: Non-Platform Workers' Perceptions and Legitimacy Judgments of Algorithmic Control in Hybrid Control Regimes", Felix Hirsch (Chair of Business Information Systems, esp. Business Engineering), Armin Alizadeh, Martin Wiener and Alexander Benlian address the question of how algorithms and human managers are increasingly working together to control workers in their everyday working lives and how these new forms of organizational control are perceived and evaluated by the workers concerned.

In their work entitled "Innovation Capabilities for Product- and Process-Oriented Digital Business Model Innovation of Industrial Firms - A Configurational Approach to Multiplicity", Dix Maik Gräubig (Chair of Business Information Systems, in particular Information Systems in Industry and Trade) and Philipp Scharfe (Chair of Business Information Systems, in particular Business Engineering) explore the question of which combinations of innovation capabilities lead to product- and/or process-oriented digital business model innovation in industrial firms.
