ESE (First-Semester Orientation) Week 2026

Are you starting your business studies this October? Then you’ve come to the right place! ESE is for all first-year students in bachelor’s, diploma, and master’s programs.

ESE stands for First-Semester Orientation Week, which takes place one week before classes begin (October 5–9, 2026). You can find the program here:

During this week, you’ll get to know your fellow students and make friends for your time at university. In various workshops, you’ll learn how to create your class schedule, where to register for courses, and how the university is structured. Together, we’ll explore the  campus and, on one or two evenings, experience Dresden by night.
