Lecture on the environment and sustainability at TU Dresden

As part of the Wiwi mid-term meeting in the 2025/26 winter term, we will be welcoming Dr. Ines Herr, Environmental Coordinator at TU Dresden. In the first part of the event, she will give a presentation on environmental protection and sustainability at TU Dresden and will then be available for questions and discussion.

Since 2003, TUD has been operating an environmental management system in accordance with EMAS. Around 20 years later, a sustainability strategy was adopted. How does environmental management fit into this strategy? What activities and projects are being implemented? And how can each individual contribute to greater environmental protection and sustainability at TUD? Answers to these questions will be provided in a lecture by Dr. Ines Herr, who herself studied and earned her doctorate at the Faculty of Business and Economics.
