CCS Telehealth Eastern Saxony: Telematic Integration in the Health Region CarusConsilium Sachsen for Coping with a Shortage of Skilled Workers and the Effects of Demographic Change

Short description:
The European Union (EU) and the Free State of Saxony fund the project CCS Telehealth Eastern Saxony for the health care of regions with a weak infrastructure. To meet the challenges of an ageing society and of a skills shortage in the health care professions a development of an IT platform is funded with the grant. The telemedicine services from different medical special fields should be provided in the future using this infrastructure.
