"E-Learning Gem" Contest

Have you used digital tools in a course in a particularly innovative way—or seen them used that way—in recent semesters? Then let others know about it!

From October 19 to November 15, 2026, ZiLL is collecting your suggestions for successful examples of (partially) digital teaching and learning scenarios from the past two semesters. Both nominations and self-submissions are welcome. Please note that the Carl Gustav Carus Faculty of Medicine is excluded from participation this time.

From December 7, 2026, through January 10, 2027, you can browse the new “Schmuckstück” gallery and vote to determine which three instructors will each receive prize money of €2,000.

Nominate outstanding courses—and if you’re a faculty member, don’t hesitate to submit your own application!
