Internships are a good way to get to know possible professional fields and career paths better, to test yourself and the knowledge you have acquired at university, and also to establish contacts with future employers.
An internship is compulsory for all students on the Bachelor's and Diploma degree programs in the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics and on the Master's in Business Education and Management Training. In the Master's degree programs in Business Administration and Economics, an internship can be included in the compulsory elective area. In all cases, the internship module comprises 5 credit points.
The requirements for internships are set out in the faculty's internship guidelines. The Internship Office can help you find the internship that is right for you and get it recognized. You can find important information on this page!
Please note: In the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in Business Education and Management Training, it is not the Internship Office that is responsible for internships, but the Chair of Business Education and Management Training. Both degree programs also have their own internship guidelines. Please refer to the Chair's website for more information on school/company internships!
Holidays: The Internship Office will be closed from July 23 to July 24 and from August 03 to August 14, 2026. No emails will be processed during this period.
