Best Paper Award: "Tailoring Health: Contextual Variables in Health Recommender Systems"
Which variables typically play a role in behavior change recommender systems? And which are best suited for personalized recommendations, such as healthy eating, mental health, or sleep? Our new paper, presented today at the workshop for Health Recommender Systesms at RecSys 2024 in Bari, answers these and other questions.
You can find the full article on pages 2-7 here.
This paper was developed as part of a research seminar by our student Felix Reinsch, supervised by Thure Weimann and Jeannette Stark. We are especially proud that this paper was honored with the Best Paper Award.
A heartfelt thanks goes to the Foster Program of TU Dresden, which made it possible for Felix to present his work in person at RecSys 2024.
Congratulations on this outstanding achievement, Felix!
