Diving into Healthcare Digitalization: Insights from the ÖGD-Summit
Today, approximately 160 participants from public health departments across Germany convened at the Humboldt Carré in Berlin for the ÖGD-Summit. The aim was to delve into the current state of digitalization in public healthcare services and to discuss proven practices. The Research Group Digital Health hosted a workshop on process modeling as a pivotal step towards digitalizing healthcare. Under the guidance of Carola Gißke, Dr. Jeannette Stark, and Nick Heidmann, fundamental questions surrounding process modeling were tackled, fostering lively exchanges among stakeholders in public health services.
In addition, as part of our EvalDiGe project, a talk on maturity models as tools for change management and a workshop on thinking beyond dimensions in maturity models were offered.
The ÖGD-Summit signaled the beginning of an ongoing dialogue and a deepened understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with healthcare digitalization. Through intensive exploration of innovative concepts and practical experiences, essential foundations for efficient and targeted healthcare provision were laid.
