Travelling by car

• From the west direction (Chemnitz/Leipzig)
  After the exit from the A4 into Dresden-Altstadt, follow the signs to Prague (E 55). At the 2nd traffic light (Nürnberger Platz) after the high street, turn right onto Münchner Straße, then turn left at the Münchner Platz after about 400 m.
• From the north (Berlin) and east direction (Bautzen/Görlitz)
  After the exit from the A4 into Dresden-Hellerau, follow the signs to Prague (E55). After the Central Station, follow the direction of the tram line 3 and go through the next set of lights (Nürnberger Platz) continuing on the Münchner Straße. Then after about 400m, turn left on Münchner Platz.

Travelling by tram

From the Dresden main railway station take the tram line 3 (Direction Coschütz) for three stops until Münchner Platz.

Travelling from the airport

Take the airport train (S-Bahn) to Central Station Dresden and then travel with the tram number 3 (in the direction of Coschütz) to the stop Münchner Platz.

Building plan

Take the tram, as described above, until the stop Münchner Platz. You can view the location on campus as well as the floor plan of the Schumann building in the Campus Navigator.
The chair is located in the B-wing of the Georg-Schumann-Bau in rooms 40-43 as well as 48-49.
