­Getting a taste of a conference: Students at the World Congress on Public Health

At the 17th World Congress on Public Health (WCPH), more than 3,000 participants exchanged views on the latest findings and challenges in the field of public health between May 2 - 6, 2023 in Rome. Among them two master students of our Faculty of Business and Economics. Thanks to the kind support of the Research Group Digital Health and the funding by FOSTER (Funds for Student Research), they were able to attend this year's WCPH. The congress was held under the motto “A World in Turmoil: Opportunities to Focus on the Public's Health”. In addition to current crises, the event focused on digital solutions for demand-driven health care and case studies for achieving the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.
