Addressing the Challenge of Digitalization Resistance in Public Health Agencies

Our research paper titled 'Overcoming Resistance: Understanding the Dynamics of Digital Transformation in Public Health' has laid the foundation for tackling this critical issue. Presented at the 2024 European Conference on Information Systems in Paphos, our study identifies 33 key factors influencing the acceptance or resistance to digitalization in public health institutions.

Based on a series of interviews spanning over two years within the EVALDIGE and REDIGE projects, these factors provide valuable insights into fostering acceptance or managing resistance. Our next steps involve validating these findings and assessing their impact on digitalization efforts.
