Summer Retreat 2025 in Göttingen

As in the previous year, this year’s Summer Retreat was characterized by intensive discussions and academic exchange. The chairs of Prof. Susanne Strahringer, Prof. Martin Wiener, and Jun.-Prof. Karoline Glaser (TU Dresden) met with the chairs of Prof. Alexander Benlian (TU Darmstadt) and Prof. Martin Adam (University of Göttingen) for a three-day research retreat in Göttingen.

As an international guest, Prof. Mari-Klara Stein from Tallinn University of Technology (Estonia) participated in the retreat. During numerous sessions, doctoral researchers and postdocs presented their current research projects and received valuable feedback through constructive discussions. A particular focus was placed on the paper development sessions, where ongoing manuscripts were thoroughly discussed and further refined. The program was complemented by a joint visit and baking workshop at the European Bread Museum, which provided an informal setting for collegial exchange.

In the evenings, participants had the opportunity to explore Göttingen through a guided city tour and to continue their discussions over a shared dinner.
