Open data in focus: New HMD issue highlights the opportunities and challenges of open data under the guest editorship of TU Dresden
The new issue of HMD – Praxis der Wirtschaftsinformatik focuses on the topic of Open Data from a variety of perspectives. Guest editors Prof. Susanne Strahringer and Prof. Martin Wiener curated this special issue, which is closely linked to the Dresden MPSC initiative “Open Data for Citizens, Business, and Administration.” The initiative aims to systematically prepare, make accessible, and utilize open data in Dresden – providing a foundation for added value in public administration, business, and society.
In addition to their editorial roles, staff members from the Chairs of ISIH and WIBE contributed further articles to the issue, developed in the context of the ongoing MPSC activities.
