Das Ziel der NFG ist die Verbesserung der Anwendung und überregionalen Verbreitung alltagsbegleitender, integrierter Versorgungsmodelle und ihrer Unterstützung durch IuK-Technologien. Damit soll in Zukunft, trotz reduzierter personeller oder monetärer Ressourcen, ein flächendeckendes Versorgungsangebot auf hohem Niveau für die sächsische Bevölkerung sichergestellt bzw. ermöglicht werden. Die Fokussierung einer bedarfsgerechten Versorgung in der eigenen Häuslichkeit verbessert zudem das Einhalten von Therapiezielen und nutzt individuelle Fähigkeiten optimal aus.
