The Bioscience PhD Students, or BiPS, form a network of all PhD students who are independently employed at the CMCB. Its aim is to provide support for the PhD students on the campus and improve the quality of their research experience.

Introduction

The Bioscience PhD Students, or BiPS, form a network of all PhD students who are independently employed at the CMCB. The CMCB is a central institution of the TU Dresden which consists of the Biotec, CRTD and B CUBE.

Moreover, it is possible for any PhD student from another institute working in a relevant field to join BiPS if they adhere to the regulations.

BiPS was initiated by PhD students in 2009 but is supported by the group leaders. Its aim is to provide support for the PhD students on the campus and improve the quality of their research experience. Currently there are more than 80 BiPS.

There are numerous research groups at the following institutes which can employ BiPS :
