Abstract Submission

We cordially invite everyone to submit abstracts for research and project contributions for this year's GeNeMe by 12.04.2026. The abstracts should address the main topics and give an outlook on the content of the contribution. We ask you to present your topic briefly and concisely in 3,000 characters. In addition, you have the opportunity to supplement your abstract with two to three informative illustrations.

Submission system

This year we are using the conference system ConfTool https://www.conftool.net/geneme2026 for the submission of papers.
The following steps are involved:

• Create a user profile
• Logging into the system
• Entering the abstract

Creating a new account

By clicking on the link https://www.conftool.net/geneme2026 you will be directed to the conference management system page and guided through the individual steps of the submission process. All information is available on the respective pages in German and English.

The first time you access the page, you must register once. To do this, click on "Register and submit your contribution". You will be redirected to a form field to register with your personal details. All fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory. You can also expand and complete your profile at a later stage. After successfully submitting the form, you will receive confirmation of successful registration and your access data by e-mail.

Submission of abstracts

After you have logged into the system with your access data, you can enter your abstract into the system via the "Your submissions" link. You enter all the information about your abstract directly in the system. We ask you to select the abstract template for the corresponding submission format of your contribution in the conference system in advance. A distinction is made between the research paper and project contribution formats, but the abstract submission process is the same. The maximum number of characters is specified in the form. We also ask you to select the tracks (topics) in which you would like to submit your contribution. You have the option of selecting more than one.

Please also indicate the co-authors of the contribution so that they can be informed about all further steps relating to the submission. During the review process, the author details will be hidden by the system.

They have the opportunity to revise and expand their submission until the deadline. Via the link "Your submissions" you will receive an overview of the submissions and the details.
