Doctoral Colloquium
Under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Thomas Köhler (Faculty of Education Sciences), Prof. Dr. Eric Schoop (Senior Consultant, CODIP) organizes a weekly hybrid colloquium. In the colloquium, doctoral candidates from the structured PhD program 'Education and Technology' (EaT) present their ongoing research projects. The colloquium offers them the opportunity to gain academic support from the expert panel as well as constructive feedback from their peers. International PhD Summer School:
The CODIP at TU Dresden has actively organized the annual Education and Technology PhD Summer School since 2008. International partner institutions include the Private University College of Education of the Diocese of Linz, Austria; Université de Strasbourg, France; Universitetet i Bergen, Norway; Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, Indonesia; Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Shiraz University, Iran; Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University Karlsruhe, Germany; KGTU Bishkek / Manas University Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan; and EPOKA University, Albania.The Summer School is an effective event for fostering international cooperation and exchange among partner institutions. PhD candidates in the Education and Technology structured doctoral network can take the opportunity to learn and discuss directly with professors and peers from around the world. Recently, the 18th Education and Technology Summer School (2025) was successfully hosted by EPOKA University in Albania, focusing on themes related to Artificial Intelligence, Digitalization, VCL&COIL, and Future Skills in education. The EaT Summer School continues to provide young scholars with valuable guidance and possibilities under the rapid innovation of educational technology.
