Guiding through the AI tool jungle – New article published in JASIST
In the article in the recent Journal of the Association for Information Science and Technology (JASIST) issue 74/5, Prof. Dr. Thomas Köhler (Faculty of Education, TU Dresden, Institute for Vocational Education and Didactics, Educational Technology Chair and Center for Open Digital Innovation and Participation, Dresden) and Prof. Dr. Andrzej M. J. Skulimowski (AGH University of Science and Technology, Chair of Automatic Control & Robotics, Decision Science Laboratory, Krakow) have developed a new approach to select AI technologies and tools for a knowledge platform that fosters creativity. Using expert surveys and analysis methods, their team links technological recommendations to platform design aims and constraints. By implementing selected technologies, the platform can effectively harness open innovation potential and deliver a model for advanced open-access knowledge systems. This approach is an essential part of digital sustainability and AI-alignment strategy.
