EPC Workshop „ERC Calls 2022 – an overview“
Rick Glöckner - Acting Head of Unit "Individual and Network Activities"
The new seven-year EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation – “Horizon Europe” offers various funding instruments: individual to cooperative projects, bottom-up to top-down approaches, European and world-wide initiatives, from fundamental and frontier to applied research and innovation.
Under this roof the European Research Council (ERC) keeps supporting excellent researchers who conduct fundamental research and open up new interdisciplinary areas of knowledge. The ERC grants rank among the world’s most prestigious research funding opportunities and are only granted to excellent researchers implementing ground-breaking projects.
Whether ERC Starting Grant, ERC Consolidator Grant or ERC Advanced Grant - there are various options for different career levels after completing your doctorate. In addition, ERC Synergy Grants allow research on highest level in a team.
