Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU) has published its work program within Horizon Europe. In 2024, a total of €213 million will be made available in 18 topics to support projects for the development of competitive circular bio-based industries in Europe.

The specific goal of CBE JU is to advance a competitive, bio-based circular economy for a sustainable Europe in line with the European Green Deal and the EU Bioeconomy Strategy. Target groups are all actors in bio-based value chains and industries, including primary producers, researchers and civil society.

A CBE JU Info Day is planned for April 23, 2024 as an on-site event in Brussels. The individual sessions will also be broadcast online.

The call for proposals will open following the event. The deadline for submitting applications is September 18, 2024 (5:00 p.m. CET).
