Clean Energy Transition (CET) call 2025 online!

The Clean Energy Transition (CET) partnership aims to accelerate the transition to clean energy in order to achieve the goal of climate neutrality by 2050. It is a transnational and strategic partnership to align research, development and innovation (RDI) strategies, leverage knowledge and experience and promote systemic change. Around 50 national/regional funding organizations from more than 30 countries in Europe and beyond participate in the CET partnership and are co-funded by the European Union (EU). This year's call has a funding volume of EUR 80 million.

CM2025-02	Energy system flexibility: renewables production, storage and system integration
CM2025-03A	Advanced renewable energy (RE) technologies for power production (ROA)
CM2025-03B	Advanced renewable energy (RE) technologies for power production (IOA)
CM2025-04	Carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS) (not funded by Germany)
CM2025-05	Hydrogen and renewable fuels
CM2025-06	Heating and cooling technologies
CM2025-07	Integrated regional energy systems
CM2025-08	Integrated industrial energy systems
CM2025-09	Clean energy integration in the built environment

Funding via the BMWE (EUR 12 million funding)
100% funding of project costs (without lump sum)

Funding is available for collaborative projects with at least 3 partners from 3 participating countries
At least 2 partners must come from the EU or Horizon Europe associated countries
