New Funding Opportunity: DUT Call 2025 – Driving Urban Transitions
The Driving Urban Transitions (DUT) Partnership, co-funded by Horizon Europe, will soon launch its fourth transnational call for proposals (DUT Call 2025). International research and innovation projects that address urban challenges and contribute to climate-neutral, sustainable and resilient cities will be supported.
The projects should be assigned to at least one of the three thematic priorities:
- 15-minute city (15minC) - promoting compact and liveable neighborhoods (BMFTR - only Topic 1: "Next steps for multimodal urban mobility, building on travel experience")
- Circular urban economies - increasing resource efficiency and sustainable urban systems (not funded by Germany)
- Positive energy districts (PED) - integration of energy-positive solutions in urban districts (BMWK - only Topic 3: "PEDs in urban heating and cooling strategies")
The call places particular emphasis on transdisciplinarity and urban transformation. It offers the opportunity to develop knowledge and solutions with a direct impact on practice and policy, thus strengthening international cooperation and the contribution to sustainable urban development.
