Horizon Europe Missions – Calls for Proposals and Info Days!
Together. Global. Excellent.
TU Dresden goes Horizon Europe.
Horizon Europe is with a budget of around € 95.5 billion for 2021 - 2027, the most ambitious and the world’s largest research & innovation funding programme ever. The central goal of Horizon Europe is to drive Europe's scientific and technological excellence and support collaborative research to address global societal challenges, such as those in the areas of health, climate, energy and mobility.
For the first time, Horizon Europe includes so-called Missions as a new funding concept. EU Missions are a new way to bring concrete solutions to some of our greatest challenges. They have ambitious goals and will deliver concrete results by 2030. Missions are not limited to research and innovation measures, but are intended to generate political support across sectors and in dialogue with the public. Missions are intended to bring social change and thus - within a defined time horizon of 10 years - lead to measurable solutions.
Recently, the European Commission published the updated Work Programme 2021/22 for Missions with funding opportunities for collaborative research and innovation activities.
A list of all published topics for Horizon Europe with deadlines in 2022 is provided in the following files, with login protected links to further information on each topic (updated regularly with new calls):
