Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU) has published the Work Programme for 2023 within Horizon Europe. 215.5 million euros will be dedicated to advancing competitive circular bio-based industries in Europe across 18 topics.

CBE JU aims to significantly contribute to a sustainable Europe and EU’s climate targets for 2030 by fostering the European Green Deal and Europe’s Bioeconomy Strategy. The Work Programme 2023 adresses all actors of bio-based value chains and industries, including primary producers, researchers and civil society.

A CBE JU Info Day is planned for April 20t^h, 2023 in person in Brussels; the sessions will also be streamed online.

The call for proposals will open after the event, and the call deadline is planned for September 20^th, 2023 at 17:00 CET.
