Creative Europe – Culture programme: New Call for proposals for European cooperation projects

The new call for proposals for European cooperation projects within the EU-Culture programme was published. The total budget for this Call for Proposals is estimated at EUR 40 million.
The objective of this call is to strengthen the capacity of the European cultural and creative sectors to operate transnationally and internationally as well as to contribute to audience development and to innovation and creativity in the field of culture.
The programme supports projects with the following priorities:
* Transnational mobility
* Audience development
* Capacity building
- Digitization
- New business models for the cultural sector
- New skills for cultural professionals
* Intercultural dialogue

Eligible projects:
The Culture Sub-programme shall support, in particular, not-for-profit projects in two categories.
Smaller scale cooperation projects (category 1):
- max. EUR 200,000
- 60% EU grant (40% co-financing)
- 1 co-ordinator and at least 2 other project partners from at least 3 different programme countries
Larger scale cooperation projects (category 2):
- max. 2 Mio. EUR
- 50% EU grant (50% co-financing)
- 1 co-ordinator and at least 5 other project partners from at least 6 different programme countries
Project duration: for a maximum of 48 months
Deadline for applications: 18 January 2018, 12 o’clock/noon (CET)
Eligible participants: Legal entities active in the cultural and creative sector (no individuals)
