The ERA-NET „ERA MIN 2“ has opened a new call for proposals on the subject "Raw materials for the sustainable development and the circular economy".

The scope of the 2018 Joint Call is needs-driven research addressing all aspects of the non-energy, non-agricultural raw materials life cycle covering both primary and secondary resources.

German project partners can be get funded if at least one of the following subject areas are addressed:

• Processing, production and remanufacturing, with increased energy end resource efficiency and valorization of by-products and residues (topic 3);
• Recycling of end-of-life products, and associated recovery processes, in a circular economy framework (topic 4)

The ERA-Min 2 call for proposals follows a 2-stage evaluation and selection process.

Project outlines have to be submitted by 31 January 2019.
