The ERA-NET Cofund ICT-AGRI-FOOD has published a call for proposals on "Innovative ICT platforms and solutions to improve the usability of digital data from the agri-food chain". Transnational, collaborative, interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary projects are to be funded, which use digital technologies to transform the agricultural and food industries towards sustainability, resilience, transparency and fairness.

The ICT Call for proposal has a two stages procedure. The project outlines have to be submitted by March 3, 2020 (the submission deadline for stage 2 – project proposals - is July 6, 2020).

The maximum funding for German partners is € 500,000.

German institutions can only apply for topic 1 "Data-driven ICT platforms and solutions to improve the sustainability of agri-food systems".

The BMBF is not funding projects on the second topic of the ERA-NET ICT AGRI call "Identify and address barriers for adoption of ICT technologies in the agri-food systems".
