NEURON-ERANET has published a joint transnational call for research projects in the field of "sensory disorders".

The aim of the Network of European Funding for Neuroscience Research (NEURON) is to coordinate research work and funding programs in the field of disease-oriented neuroscientific research in the partner countries.

With the new call 2020, ERA-NET NEURON wants to promote multinational and collaborative research projects that examine important issues relating to sensory disorders and their influence on the nervous system.

Proposals should focus on impairment and/or loss of sensory function of neural origin and should cover at least one of the following areas:

• Fundamental research addressing the pathogenesis and etiology of sensory disorders.
• Clinical research to develop novel strategies for prevention, diagnosis, patient stratification, therapy and/or rehabilitation for sensory disorders.

The deadline for project sketches is March 10, 2020.
