The European Research Network “PerMed” is a new ERA-Net Cofound which supports national and regional research strategies and funding measures in order to reinforce the competitiveness of European players in the field of Personalised Medicine (PM). The ICPerMed Action Plan serves as a basis for this funding programme.

On 1 December 2017, the Saxon State Ministry for Science and the Arts joined the ERA-Net “PerMed” and has now – as one of the 31 partners of 22 countries – the opportunity to provide funding for researchers from Saxony with a total budget of 1.5 Mio. € for each of the calls.

The total budget available for this call is 27 Mio. € (approx.).

The call is planned to be launched in February 2018 with a submission deadline for pre-Proposals in April 2018. The call is being co-funded by the European Commission and addresses projects which encourage and enable interdisciplinarity by combining pre-clinical and/or clinical research with computational components. It is expected that consortia invited for the full-proposal stage will need to submit their proposal on July 5^th 2018.
