The ERC Advanced Grant call 2022 will open soon!
The ERC („European Research Council“) will open the ERC Advanced Grant 2022 call on January 20th, 2022.
The following points characterize promising ERC Advanced Grant candidates:
- established top scientists
- with an outstanding scientific track record in the last 10 years
- Exceptional leaders in terms of originality and significance of their research contributions
- can be of any nationality or age
The budget per project is usually a maximum of 2.5 million euros, in exceptional cases up to 3.5 million euros. The projects have a maximum duration of five years.
The ERC Advanced Grant 2022 call has a budget of 555 million euros. This means that around 223 Advanced Grants can be awarded across Europe.
Submission deadline is April 28th, 2022, 17:00 (Brussels time).
