The ERC Advanced Grant call 2023 is open!
The European Research Council (ERC) has opened the ERC Advanced Grant 2023 call on December 8th, 2022.
The following points characterize promising ERC Advanced Grant candidates:
- established top scientists
- with an outstanding scientific track record in the last ten years
- exceptional leaders in terms of originality and significance of their research contributions
- can be of any nationality or age
The budget per project is usually a maximum of 2.5 million euros, in exceptional cases up to 3.5 million euros. The projects have a maximum duration of five years.
The ERC Advanced Grant 2023 call has a budget of 597 million euros. This means that around 246 Advanced Grants can be awarded across Europe.
Submission deadline is May 23rd, 2023, 17:00 (Brussels time).
