With the help of the EuProNet programme the Saxon State Ministry for Higher Education, Research and the Arts supports activities within the competitive EU funding programmes for research and innovation (e.g. HORIZON 2020). Funding can be provided for research projects within European research networks (ERA-Nets), for networking activities in European Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs) as well as for the preparation of proposals responding to the HORIZON 2020 calls.

Funding may comprise additional staff, travelling expenses or the organisation of networking events among others. Proposals can be submitted until 26 November 2017 at the Sächsische Aufbaubank. The funds will be distributed on a "first-come, first-served" basis. Please note that in order to receive funding, researchers will have to name the specific call within HORIZON 2020 they are aiming at; in addition, the activities must be completed by December 2018.
